Representative of the Company, the Company Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Corporate Governance Department of the Group, Ms. Charmaine Cheng is honored to participate as a juror in the ESG Achievement Awards 2022/2023 (the "Achievement Award"), founded by the Institute of ESG & Benchmark (“IESGB”) and co-organized by the Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia (“IFTA”). The awards ceremony and luncheon were held on 22 September 2023. Guests attending the day included the Guest of Honours, Mr. Joseph Chan Ho-lim JP, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, and Ms. Taie Wang, Chief Sustainable & Emerging Business Officer of Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited. A total of 16 jurors from the Jury Panel attended the ceremony and presented the respective trophies and certificates on stage to each winner.

Ms. Charmaine Cheng of the Comapny is responsible for judging the entries in the following categories: Outstanding ESG Awards (Listed Company), acknowledges Listed Company of varying sizes and sectors with exceptional environmental, social, and corporate governance ("ESG") performance, evaluated based on a range of sustainability metrics, and Best Sustainable Vision Award, acknowledges corporates with a clear set of governance structure and policies that set the tone to determine the sustainability missions in promoting a net zero carbon footprint.
